April 28th weekly update! Smashin' through

Heya gang,

Woo, been a bit of a doozy of a week. Sorry this update is getting to y'all a bit late. I didn't realize we were getting so close to the month being over, so I'm gonna have to kick things into overdrive a bit and change what I want to get done this month. Any let's get into the update!

First things first, Renapet work! Spent some time doing the fast animation for the anal scene. I also want to try and add ripple waves to her ass to accent the motion a bit more. I might go back and add these to the other speeds later too. There's still a bit of work to do on it, but I hope you like how it looks so far.

I also spent some time coding RenaCatch. I'm setting up the base of it now, doing the code to shoot balls, catch them and having the score tallied based on the type of catch. Honestly I had thought I'd get farther with the code by now, but unfortunately haven't had the time to sit down and code. So I will try harder to get it done soon!



I also spent some time working on the Hilda animation. Mostly cleaning up the background and setting up the animation loop. Unfortunately, I didn't realize how close we were to the end of the month, so I'm going to do my best to wrap it up before April is over, but it might bleed a bit into May.



I also wanted to get something simple out to you y'all, since everything was still in progress. So I worked a bit on the Pyra bust shot I showed a bit ago and made it into a simple paizuri animation. I'm still working on the secondary animation to it, but I hope you enjoy it so far.



I also worked a bit on Booette's Mansion. It's been difficult to work on previously, since I feel like I've changed pixel art style, especially when it comes to my colors. So I thought it'd be a good idea to give it a new fresh coat of paint, and revamp how I do the colors on it. I think this will help me a lot going forward and honestly, due to the nature of how I structured tha anim before, shouldn't take me too long to implement on the other frames I've done. I think overall it will help me work on it faster, and also look better at the end of the day. I'll leave a side by side comparison below, with the new one being on the left and the old one being on tthe right.



I'll be releasing the Madeline Hand job anim loop publicly this Wednesday most likely. I'll include it in the weekly Patreon showcase for this week.

Anyway that's it for now. I had expected to have about another week to wrap up things for April but, uh... it's looking like I'll have a clean 3 days haha. So unfortunately the Renapet update won't be finished this month, and instead I'll focus on getting the Hilda animation wrapped up. I'll try to push myself and get it done before the month is up so the monthly animations don't fall behind. Once that's done, I'll open up the monthly anim polls, and continue working on Renapet.

April 22nd Weekly update! RedLine Cruiser


Heya gang,

Been a busy week, sorry I'm getting this out to y'all a little later than I wanted, but got quite a lot to show ya. So let's get to it!

First things first, Hilda won the animation poll for this month! I spent some time working on the mock up for it and I should have it wrapped up before the end of the month.



Last month's winner ,Shantae, was also released earlier this week, so you can check those out on my other social media sites!

Next up, I worked a bit more on the Toriel Wall project here and there. Mostly adding POV hands to some of the poses and then working a bit on the oral scene.



I also actually ended up making a small anim loop for a friend. They've been helping me a lot on some real life stuff and they wanted to be paid back with a little anim loop of Madeline from Celeste giving a handjob haha I'll be throwing it up for $5 patrons in a bit and it will be public in about a week or two. I added something a little extra in there too just to break up the loop a bit. I think it came out pretty well lol



I worked a bit on the Neko Touch update too. Mostly on the new oral scene and on the what the new look for the sprites will be. Mainly I've been trying to not rely on just black lines for my line art and seeing how I can use more colors to give off better lighting. Here's a pic of what the title screen will look like in the update.



Now for Renapet! The next update is going to be introducing quite a bit of content, so it's taking a bit longer, but I hope the wait will be worth it.

It will include:

- Anal Scene fully implemented

- Rena Catch mini game

- Status Menu implementation

- Training menu implementation

- General basic stat implementation

The main point of this update is to get a crude version of the game's primary loop set up. The loop will still be missing a few components, like fighting and feeding, but that will becoming in the following update after this one. But basically the primary loop will be Rena waking up -> feeding to raise her happiness and fullness -> Using energy points to do training mini-games to raise stats or fighting to get money or having sex with her to raise her happiness -> Using money to buy food and items -> Then rest to start a new day and recover energy points.


So this week I tweaked the anal scene a bit more. The animation for it I had before seemed a bit too fast for the slow variation, so I ended up adding a few frames to space the motion out, and then used the anim loop I showed before as the new medium speed. I still need to fix a few secondary animation problems, but it'll give you a good idea on what it will look like.

I also spent time on trying to settle on a good UI for RenaCatch. UI isn't my specialty so I went through a few ideas before landing on something like this. I'm still not super happy on how it came out, so I'm probably gonna tweak it here and there. Probably add some background UI elements so it's easier to see on the background. But the main idea is to show how many balls are left in the round and what score you got for each one (Good, Perfect, and Miss). So each ball will be marked with a G, P or M, after your attempt at catching them. There will be 3 difficulties that change the amount of balls Rena has to catch and the benefits of the training. When you catch a ball, you'll either see Good, Perfect, or Miss depending on where you catch the ball indicated by the blue circle. I might change how the circle looks so it's a bit more clear later on. But the better you do in the training , the better results you'll get from that training for Rena. These stat increases will help in the "Fight" portion of the game, though they will wear off after a certain time in the game, so training consistently will be important as well as choosing which stat you focus on.




Oh! Almost forgot I made a mock up of the food menu as well. Basically it'll just be a menu that you can select specific foodstuffs for Rena to eat. Each giving a change to her happiness, fullness, and weight. I feel like it's too bare bones at the moment, so I'll probably try to add some more personality to it, but here it is so far.



I also animated the Rena in the sex canvas menu, so here's what it'll look like in game:


So that's pretty much it for this week. I'll be including all the stuff mentioned above in the weekly showcase so make sure to check that out too.

I know I've been taking on quite a bit as of late, so I'm going to pivot to primarily working to get the RenaPet update done this month. Then I will be working on the Hilda animation and Booette in my free time. Booette has a lot of small things that I keep going over and over on, but it's been in development for so long, that I'm just going to focus on getting it out the door for you all to enjoy. I'm not sure if I'll get it done this month since I have other things going on, but I'll try my best and keep you all posted!

April 13th weekly update! Wonder Wing Waltz

Hey gang,

Have a few things to show ya this week. Unfortunately I lost a day of spriting, due to some work stuff, but I still got quite a bit done, so let's get to it!

First off I made a little anim loop of Aigis Toaster steppin' just for fun. This one will be released in full now since it's just a little fun thing I did. There's also a transparent one included just cuz lol




I also worked on that Samurai mock up a bit more. I did an attack animation and made a quick mock up of a background. I was a bit inspired by a game called Sakura Samurai, and it had some challenges like defeat 30 enemies as fast as you could with 3 hearts. So I thought it'd be a good prototype to make a one screen simple game where you try to kill a set amount of oni samurai and get an animation as a reward or something along those lines. Things are still up in the air for it, but I figured it could be something interesting to have in the background.



I spent some time on that Tori Wall mock up as well. Mostly just thinking about what scenes would be in the game. So I sprited most of them out in one gif file. Nothing really animated yet, but it'll give you an idea of what the game will offer.



I've also been playing the FF7 remake (a bit too much haha) and I decided to polish up an old Tifa pic I did.



I also finished the tail for the REnamon shake anim for Renapet. The anal slow speed anim is almost done, I have the tail done, I just need to do the lighting and the white tip of her tail.



I also did some work on the Booette animation. Mainly just cleaning up the secondary animation. So nothing really to show yet since it's still super messy, but hopefully I'll have it cleaned up soon.
Anyway that's it for the most part this week. I want to get a new update of Renapet out this upcoming week, so I'm going to be focusing on that. It'll hopefully include the anal scene, Rena Catch, and a basic status screen implemented. I hope you all look forward to it!

April 9th weekly update! Sidewinde cruiser

Heya gang,

Sorry this update was late, I forgot to update this blog as well ^^'. These are going to be the same as the public posts on my patreon so you can always check that out if an update is late here. But any ways, let get into things for this week:

Shantae's anim loop is available for $5 patrons now and will be released publicly on the 16th! I wanted to take a more interesting angle with this one and do a lot with the secondary motion and I think it came out pretty well. It was fun to use the game's sprites to make this one. The background is also based on the save room from Risky's Revenge. It's always fun to see how much I can mimic the original sprite work haha but yeah overall this was a toughie, but still a fun one to work on.



I did a little mock up of a samurai-esque game inspired by the circle Room-V's Secret Babes' pixel art style. I did it as a warm up exercise since their sprites are usually a lot bigger, so I wanted to see if I could shrink it down. But I like how it came out, so maybe I'll expand on it later. Room-V doesn't seem to make things anymore, but I always liked their thicc character design, so I'd recommend checking some of their games on dlsite.



I also did a mock up of a interactive animation featuring Toriel stuck in a wall. I'll show the whole mock-up in a separate $2 and up Patreon post since these public ones have to be censored, but I hope you like it. The game itself would be simple, and I have some other projects I need to get done first, but I think it would be a fun experience when it's all done.



I have a few other things cooking in the back, but they aren't fully ready to show yet, so I'll save them for the weekly update on Sunday. I also wanted to get the 2 Renapet anims I mentioned last week completed, but I noticed some errors I made on them, so they'll take a wee bit more time to wrap up.

Also for the future, I'll be calling the posts I make for $2 and up patrons that contain the sprites I've worked on that week, "Weekly Patreon Showcase". So those will follow each public post from now on.

News: Small quick update + changes to workflow and output +bigger update Wednesday

Heya gang,

Have a few things I wanted to wrap up for the weekly update, but need a bit more time to get things finished. So I wanted to give y'all a small update now, go over with how I'm gonna handle things in the future, and then come back with the goods on Wednesday. So let's get into what I've been working on:

So Shantae is almost done, just need to polish the main animation of the body a tad, then do the secondary animation like the hair, and then polish up any loose pixels. I should have it done tomorrow, or the day after. Once I finish it, I'll make the animation poll for April's anim. Feel free to throw some ideas in the comments if you want. Can't guarantee they'll make the cut, but it couldn't hurt haha

I've also been working on Renapet's animations, specifically animating the sex canvas pose for Rena and then polishing the anal scene's sex loop. Once I get that done, I'll be able to do the other speeds much easier since I have the base prepared. I wanted to work on getting RenaCatch in there as well, but I put most of my energy this week towards finishing Shantae. But I want to start implementing more actual gameplay in there, so it'll be next up on the list once I get the anal animation done for the next demo update.

I also wanted to announce that I'm going to make more of an effort to tune things up around here. I'll be honest, February and March were pretty rough months for me, and it led to me not getting what I want done in real life and on here. But I want April to be my turn around month, so I'm gonna do my best to get more pixel art out to y'all and handle this Patreon better.

I'm also going to be changing how I do the weekly updates a bit. The public posts will have text mostly of what I've done, with maybe an image here or there. Then I will make separate posts showing the wip stuff for Patrons. This is both so I don't draw too much ire from Patreon for having lewd public posts, but also so my patrons can get more exclusive content.

I'm also going to try to work on games more overall. I don't want to bite off more than I can chew again, but I'll try to code up prototypes here and there, and try to pair it with some pixel art so I have somethings for my $5 patrons to try. I'm not sure when this plan will come to fruition, but like the paragraph above, I want to make sure my patrons are getting the value that they donated for.

Adding on to that, $5 patrons will be seeing animations about a week or two before the public release of it. This won't apply to every animation, depending on the situation, but for most of them that's how it'll go.

Since I'm going to try and get more pixel art done, I'm also going to try and put a dent into my backlog, since I have so many things laying around unfinished. Especially since I know some of y'all having been waiting for some of the stuff that's been wip for a while now.

I'm also going to do a better job posting on twitter, newgrounds and my other social sites. I slacked quite a bit on it last month, but I'll make sure to remedy that for the future. I'll be posting posts about the weekly updates there, anim polls, and probably some of the 20-30 minute warm up posts I do every now and then. I want to engage with my audience more, and I think this will be a good start.

That's about it. I ended up writing a lot more than I expected, but I hope this helped lay out my plans for the future for my work. All of your support has been wonderful and has helped me much more than you could know, so I want to give back to y'all as much as I can.
