May 31st weekly update! Grassland groove

Heya gang,

Animated a bunch of breasts this week haha A lot of stuff is still wip, but anyways let's get into how things are progressing



Mythra NNN

Lot of rendering work on Mythra this week. Cleaning up the older loops and then finalizing the "tit trap" anim. They're all done for the most part aside from some lighting for the tit fuck anim. Then there's just one more tit fuck loop I need to do and then it's of to the transitions. This animation is definitely taking longer than I wanted, t I think it'll be good once it's all wrapped up. I've also been starting to flesh out the key frames for the other parts so those can go a bit more smoothly. I'll let y'all know how things go.

Palace of the Goddess

Been working on this too. Wanted to look into making the file size smaller since the game takes up a lot of space when it really shouldn't. I'm pretty confident that it's because of faults on my part, so I want to see if I can trim things down if possible. I spent a couple of hours trying to get things to work, but I didn't get much changed. I'll keep looking into it tho and try to trim things down. I think my biggest thing was my lack of sprite sheets. Since the animations (especially the cum scenes) had a lot of frames, I figured it would probably be best to have individual sprite files, but honestly the opposite is probably the case and sprite sheets would probably save me a lot of memory/ loading. I'll be doing some test this upcoming week to see how I can scale things down while developing the game more.

I'm also working on the 2nd cut-in anim that plays when she orgasms and the 2nd tit fuck loop. I'll drop them both in the next demo when they're done.

Booette

I laid out the animation for the close up blowjob scene for Booette. It's still rough, but you should get a feel for what the overall animation will feel like.

Commissions

Also spent a lot of time on animations this week. I think I have decent balance between supporter work and commission work, so hopefully I can keep it up. I'll be making a more proper announcement of the commissions available once I make some more animation examples. I'll discuss that later in the update though. But I'll be making a pricing sheet with what you can expect from an animation once they're finished.

Polls

It seems like Cynthia won the open character poll! So expect some work with her to come out soonish.

Art thoughts and other things

Just wanted to talk about my process a bit. Like I mentioned last week, I haven't been satisfied in how my art is growing as of later, so I wanted to try some new things. Mainly trying to be "less afraid" of animating and be more willing to draw frames out and render each individually instead of rendering one frame and then editing it for several frames. I think it creates a much more "life like" feeling and gives makes things have a bit more energy to them. I'll be using commission mainly to try this out. This goes back into the animation examples I mentioned earlier. I've been having fun sketching out animations this way because it's a lot less tedious than the way I normally did it before. Rendering still takes a while, but I don't think it's any longer than how long it too before. Most of these anims are still really sketch, but I think you will enjoy them once they are all cleaned up.

I also want to become a better, more consistent game dev. So since I'll be making some practice animations in between things, I was thinking of how I can mix those with small mini-games to make a small project. These won't have a grand scope or anything and the gameplay will probably last maybe a minute or two, but I think it could be a good way to gain some more confidence when it comes to making games. I know I'm already behind on things, so I don't want these to take away a lot of dev time either, so they will be very simple in nature. Anyways, I'll let you all know what my plans will be with these later.

I also unfortunately had to spend a lot of time trying to solve an issue with my paypal as currently I can't get payments from credit or debit cards for some reason. I spent all of last Saturday trying to get it fixed, but no dice. I ended up calling them on Saturday, Monday, and this Friday, but they couldn't get it fixed. Apparently it's a more wide spread issue Paypal has been having that started the 23rd, so the only real thing I can do wait until Paypal figures it out. Of course the second I open commission something like this would creep up -_- but at least I can still get payments with Paypal through bank accounts, so it could be worse I guess.

Anyway., that's pretty much it for now. Going to be working on a lot of things going forward trying to get back into a good rhythm here. I think my new approach to animation will lead to some good results once I nail it down and hopefully will allow me to work faster. We shall see.

May 21st weekly update! Sun Shine Central + Commissions

Hey gang,

Sorry this is getting to you so late. I'll get to that later. But let's get into things.

Palace of The Goddess



The second demo for PotG is done. A bunch of small problems crept up like they always do, but I got most of the annoying stuff out of the way. So now I can focus on content. I'll outline what I've done and also what I'm going to do next below:

- Added in the Anal and Duo scenes

- Finished and added the Tit fuck loop

- Animated and added the idle pose for Goddess Offering

- Added SFX for the game

- Added Music to the game

- coded the config menu

- added button as well as mouse controls

- animated and added the cut in scene for when she orgasms

- added a basic automatic save/ load feature ( currently doesn't work on web or android builds)

- Added a loading image that will show during scene transitions

TO DO:

- Add in the rest of the Goddess Offering scenes

- Add in more animations for the cut in orgasm for Goddess Bedroom

- Loop music properly

- Animate some of the static images in the game

- optimize the game to reduce size and increase speed

- fix saving for the web version

A lot of time was fixing small things and trying to get things in the game to feel right. I also ran into quite a few bugs along the way. I managed to work out most of them, but there's still a few things like saving for the web and android versions I need to figure out. The Linux an Mac builds are also untested, so let me know if your run into a problem with them. Also, for $10 patrons, let me know if I forgot your name or misspelled it or anything like that. It's still a wip, so feel free to leave suggestions on what you liked or didn't like. There's still a lot to do for the game, but I'll keep you all posted on it's progress.

Mythra's NNN



Wanted to get some work done on this too since the "weekly" update took so long. I laid the base for the "tit trap" animation before she gives the pseudo tit fuck. I also cleaned up the nipple teasing and the tit fuck animation itself. There's more to do, but progress is being made. Will continue to clean up those animations and I'll leave a small to do list below:

- transitions between major loops

- arm tit fuck clean

- nipple teasing clean

- nipple teasing release (back to neutral)

- arm tit fuck release

- sunglasses creating before fade out

- general cleaning of animation loops for consistency

This part has taken a lot longer than I wanted it to, but it's also most likely going to be the most complex one since it involves a lot of subtle teasing animation. I'll try to get it done as soon as possible and get to work on the other parts.

Commissions and YCH animations

I'll also be opening some commission slots and doing some YCH auctions. I'm still new to stuff like this, but I tried to put a decent amount of time into things so the process can go smoothly. I'll be using ych.art for the auctions since it seems like the best site. These will be animations of whichever character the highest bidder wants. The main focus for these animations will be to focus on more dynamic movement and higher quality overall. Whatever they end up going for, I want that cost of it to be earned.

I'll also be opening some slots for 8-frame loops as well as some pin up pieces. These will be more standard commissions where when they are open, you'll contact me, explain your commission, and if I like the idea, we will settle on a price based off my price list, I'll send an invoice to you, and once I see that it's been paid, I'll get to work on it. I'm aiming for the average turn around to be 3-4 or so weeks, with me sending you work in progress shots to make sure things are looking right. I'll have a proper commission price sheet and terms of service document later, but I'll just detail the prices below.

- (5 - slots) 8 frame loop. $350 base, 1 full bodied character (with floating genitals for partner/ simple body for partner) , +300 per extra character (depends on complexity). Variables like long tails, long complex hair, and other that would need to be heavily animated may cost an additional fee depending on complexity./ posing. Comes with a simple background. +$20 for a more complex background. And +$60 for a complex animated background.

- (5- slots) sprite/ pinup drawing. $100 for a full body character. $85 per extra character ( depends on complexity). Comes with a simple background. +$20 for a complex background.

I'll also be doing some YCH pictures featuring the "Butt stuck in wall" pose. Their will be 2 poses, each being $65. They'll come with a clean version and a cum covered version as well, and also versions without the background/ with transparency. They will also come with a poster/ icon of the character. There is room for some variation, like some size changes. Overly Complex characters might also incur an additional $10 charge. Both of these can be discussed during the initial inquiry for the commission. These commissions will follow the same TOS as the other ones. I made 2 examples using the Dark Magician Girl and Toriel for both of the poses. 








All payment will be handled through Paypal only for any commission I do unless stated otherwise.

Art thought process and CountMoxi's complaint corner:

Before I end this weekly update I just wanted to take some time to talk (and complain lol) about some stuff. Recently I've kind of hated my art and the process I go about making it. A lot of it is probably just burn out, but I feel like there are large gaps of art knowledge that I need to go back and learn before I'm able to reach anywhere near my full potential. Especially color, anatomy, perspective, and posing. There's a lot I feel like I don't know about and I feel like not knowing those aspects well enough has been holding be back more and more. It's probably just me being stuck in my own head, but I figured I'd let you all know what I've been thinking. It's made recent work a bit difficult and was one of the main reasons this weekly update got pushed back so far. But at the end of the day, I still love making stuff, so I'll work on things and figure it out eventually. I'll be trying a few things out going forward, especially in these new batch of commissions.

I also might be trying out a new game engine soon. I initially liked the Godot Engine for how lightweight it was and easy to use, but I've been running it a lot of small, weird problems with it that have made it kind of tedious to work with. For example, the newest versions of the engine have had a bug were the audio stutters and sputters in web builds. So I have to hold onto an older version of the engine where that bug isn't present for it to work properly. But there's also small nuances that I feel slow me down during the development process. For example, Palace of the Goddess and Hilda's Reward have UI that you can control both via buttons and the mouse. But setting all of that up requires a lot of time and and a lot of code. I feel like it should be a lot easier than it is. Maybe I'll go back to Unity or try out Game Maker 2. I'll think on it a bit and get back to you all after some testing.

The last week and a half also hasn't been the kindest to me. I'll most likely have to shift my focus a bit to commissions as I need to shore up some funds before I back in a more comfortable position. Things should work out, but it's been a tad stressful if I'm being honest. But I will make things work one way or another, so please don't feel compelled to continue supporting or to buy a commission if you can't afford it. It's been a hectic year for everyone, so make sure you take care of yourself too.

News: Weekly update coming later

Heya gang,

Just letting you know I'm going to need a bit more time for the update this week. I'm wrapping up the demo for Palace of the Goddess and need to finish a few things:

- Cut in's for when she climaxes, I've finished 1 and need to do 2 more to based what speed she is at during climax.

- Goddess Offering Tit-Fuck still needs to completed. It won't have the full scene yet (2 speeds and climax + aftermath) but I want to finish the first loop for it.

- Music, I still need to get 2 more songs for the game, but once I find some good ones it should be easy to put them in.

- Config menu coding. Still have some things to fix for the config menu, but hopefully it won't take much longer.

The demo will be available to active $5 supporters and sine the demo is super late any one that's been a $5 supporter since last November will get the demo too.

Once that's done I wrap up the information for commissions and stuff, so I'll let you all know how the process for those will go.

If I can I'll also squeeze some work in for Mythra too, but I want to get the Palu demo wrapped up as soon as I can.

I'll also be doing another poll for a doodle page soon. This time I will make a post where people can suggest characters and then make a poll based on the most popular results. I'll make sure to balance the results from both Subscribestar and Patreon.
