August 31st weekly update! High Tide Rough Ride

Hey gang,

Hope you've been well this week. Did a bunch of animation this week, so let's get into things:



So this week I continues working on getting the demo ready for Palace of the Goddess. I did another pic for the Goddess offering portion of the game, so the full thing will be in the showcase. I also worked more on the hand transition. It's mostly done, just need to have the special effects and lighting on her bracer I think. Should be able to wrap it up soon.



I also wanted to mimic the movement of the camera to different doors like KI: Uprising does, so here's the full pic of Palu's palace. The Box represents what the camera will be and it will move depending on what button you are hovering over/clicked.



I also laid out most of the climax animation, especially the wings which took a bit to really nail down. I added feathers leaving her wings similar to how they are in Smash Bros which I think helps sell the motion better. I still need to do the lighting for the wings, as well as the second wing mimicking the other one, alongside doing the facial expression, cum, and secondary motions for everything, but the hard part is done, so now I just need to grind out the rest of it. I'll show the full wip of it in the showcase.



That's pretty much it for this week. Sorry I didn't have a demo out to you all before the end of the month. These games always have so many small things that add up in the long run, but I'll work hard to make sure the wait is worth it for you all.

I'll also be making a monthly report soonish, just to go over the state of things, what I got done this month, and how I want to approach things moving forward. I think these monthly reports are a good way to keep things transparent and keep you all informed, so I want to get back to doing them regularly.

August 24th weekly update! Mondo Mansion

Heya gang,

Hope you've been well. Did quite a bit of animation and more tedious work for Palutena, so I'm a bit tired, but let's get into things and go over what I worked on.


So I worked on the menu screen this week. I still have a lot to learn when it comes to backgrounds, but I think it came out pretty well overall. It's based on Palutena's Palace's interior from KI: Uprising since the menu is supposed to mimic that game.

I also wanted to do a bit more of a fancy transition for changing through the game's scene's this time around. Staying on the KI: Uprising train, I always liked the animation that plays if you die and then decide to go back to the main menu. Palu would wave her hand across the screen initiating the scene transition, and I thought it'd be a really cool animation to have in the game. I have the actual movement of the hand laid out and cleaned some key frames too, now I just need to do the shading and coloring for the rest of the frames, some other finishing touches, and then the special effects for things like sparkles and to make it seem more magical.

I've also been working on the Climax animation more. Mostly on the main body movement and the wings movement. I did some iterations of the wings and I finally settled on something that looks right. I've never actually animated wings before, or at least to this extent. So I had to spend some time learning how they move outwards and also how they would look flapping since she'll be flapping them in the follow up pumps of the climax animation. I think it'll look great once I get it all wrapped up.



Both the hand wave transition and the climax are still a wip, but I'll include sneak peeks to them in the showcase for this week.

That's pretty much it for now. I always end up under estimating how much animation and sprite work these mini-games need, but I'll do my best to pool it together to be a good experience for you all. I hope you all look forward to it!

August 17th weekly update! Driver Diver

Hey gang,

Hope you all had a good week. Mine was a bit busier than expected, but I still got a few things done, so let's get into it.



Most of the week was focused on getting the game set up coding wise. So that means all the boring stuff like setting up and connecting the UI, menus, scene layouts, and things like that. I also did more work on the climax scene. I realized Palu has "Goddess Wings" that she occasionally uses (especially in smash bros), so I figured those would make for an interesting addition to her climax. Trying to get the motion right for them has been a bit tricky, but I think the results will be worth it. Other than that, I did more Palu pics for the "Goddess Offering", those are done for the most part now, just need to add some finishing touches. I still need to do the background for the main menu. It'll be a bit more detailed than usual, so I'm working to get it looking right. I want it to look like the palace from Kid Icarus Uprising, so it will be a bit of a challenge, but it should be worth it.

I wanted to get more work done on Palu this week, but unfortunately some work cropped up. But luckily the next few days should be clear, so I hope to get a lot of work done. My main focus will be:

- The climax scene

- Cleaning up some of the other sex animations and their secondary animation

- And the background for the main menu.

Once I get those done, I'll break up the rest of the work needed for the demo.

Other than that, I did a little background as a warm up on the Artificer pic I did for practice. I think the colors came out nice on it, I'll include it in this week's showcase.

That's it for now. Gonna be a busy next couple of days, but they should produce some good results.

August 10th weekly update! Sporty Carnival

Hey gang,

Hope y'all have had a good week .Worked quite a bit on the Palutena game this week so let's get into it:

For the most part I worked on the UI of the game, mostly the title screen, and menu UI. The title still needs a lot of work for it's background, so that will be on the chopping block for next week as well. I also cleaned up and the did the secondary animation for the idle animation. Just need to animate the breasts and that will be done. I'll also be focusing on getting the climax anim done next week. So once I do that I can start pooling things together and get a demo out to you all, as well as start the process of getting some voice acting in there as well. There are also some poses I needed to work on for the Goddess Offering portion of the game. Basically, having sex with Palutena will give you hearts and you'll be able to unlock more poses in the Goddess Offering. I wanted it to be a fun small thing as a reward for seeing the sex scenes for a while. I'll throw all these wip pics in the showcase for this week.

Overall the project is making good pace. Going to try and get a good chunk of stuff done for next week as well and get it in your hands soon. 


I also worked a bit on a pic of the Squid Sisters from Splatoon with a splatfest theme of "Tits vs Ass". Just a little fun idea I had haha I'll post a wip of it in the showcase for this week.


That's about it for now. These weekly updates are going to look a bit lighter going forward, as I focus more on one thing at a time. But I think it will pay off, as I can feel like I'm making solid progress working towards getting all the parts of one project completed. I hope to show you more soon.

August 4th weekly update! Justice Brigade + Project planning

Hey gang,

Hope you've all been well. It's been a busy week with some ups and downs, but I managed to get quite a bit done this week, so let's get into it:

First off, the Palutena game is going well. I spent most of my time coding the base of the game (it will be similar to Hilda's Reward), but also worked on more art assets like the title screen and some other pics of Palu for the other parts of the game. The base of the cum animation and idle animation are done, so I just need to work on the secondary animation which shouldn't take much longer comparatively. Then I'll work on getting a demo out to $5 patrons to try the game out. It took a bit to get a version of Palu with clothes on that I liked, but I think it came out well in the end. Here's a wip of the title screen. I just need to add the background and title logo.



I also put work into the Blake anim. I basically keyed out all the main parts for the intro and now I'm working on the in-betweens. Basically, I wanted to try and use this to practice a new animation style that focuses a bit more on having the character be more expressive, without having to add too many new frames. The full intro isn't quite ready yet, but I'll show an example of the style below. And in the showcase there'll be a gif that shows a bit more of the anim so far. I'm also working on the poses for the anim too, so I'll show those when they're ready.



The Neko touch update is also going well. I've finished the slow speed of the oral scene and the anal scene in the new style. There's still a few anims to go over still and need to do some more loops for the oral and also it's climax, but it's coming along.





I also cleaned up the Rouge pic from last week. Gonna move onto animating and making a background for it next.



I haven't been able to work on Renapet much, but I've been doing some coding for the game and planning the overall structure of it more. Basically just trying to lay things out so I can move forward more efficiently on the project.

Speaking of moving forward efficiently, I'm going to be using this month to focus on one project at a time and work to get things out to you all since I'm behind on things. So unfortunately there won't be an anim poll this month. But I hope to still get some things out to you all.

- First things first, I'm going to focus on getting the Palutena game done. There's still quite a bit of coding and animation work, but the bones of things is mostly done, so I'm going to put it into full production and work to get it taken care of. I'll also be contacting a voice actor this week so I can get that going, as well as looking around for some music for the game.

- Then after that, I'll work on the Blake animation. The intro still needs some in-betweens but it shouldn't take too long. Then I'll proceed into the sex anims. I'm still laying out the poses for the sex scene, but I'll post them when I've decided on it. The anim will also have an epilogue and a credits scene for patrons, so I'll try to keep those simple so they don't take too might time.

- After Blake is wrapped up, I'll work on the Rouge game. I'm planning to have it be an interactive anim with 2 poses and 3 speeds each. So it will be a more simple style game, but it should still be an enjoyable experience. I also need to do the title screen and UI for the game as well, so there will be a lot of small things that would need to get done, but I'll work to get it done efficiently.

- Neko touch will be used as a warm up and cool down since for the most part it's going to be replacing and fixing pixels. So I'll work on it bit by bit throughout the month. Once all the other work is done, I'll go into full production for it.

- Renapet also still needs a lot of work. I don't think I've made enough progress on it while trying to work on other Patreon projects, so I will go into full production on it once the other work is done and then from there I'm think I will have monthly goals for the project I will try to meet and then if I meet them that month I will make a poll for a week long anim loop project. I think this will help me keep my work load more focused and will help me get more stuff done overall.

News : Weekly update later + project planning

Hey gang,

Just letting you know the weekly update will be out later today (Monday). Like I mentioned earlier, there won't be an animation poll for this month as I want to focus on getting my other projects done before I commit to another project. So I'll be going over my plans for each project and what I'll be doing for each one and showing off what I have done for each one so far.
