February 24th weekly update! Blacksmith Dealings

Hey everyone,
Small update for this week. Unfortunately I wasn't able to wrap up anything playable this week, so nothing new to show quite yet. But I was still able to spend time working on things. Most of it was spent working on setting things up for the Renapet update's background code. It's been a while since I've worked on UI and I want it to be controlled via mouse and the keyboard this time around. So I'm aiming to have that done by today or tomorrow.
I also will be adding one more edit to the home menu buttons. Right now I have art for when they're highlighted and un-highlighted. But I'm adding to add another for when it's clicked on. I don't think these will take long since they aren't big and the 2nd pair of edits I made the first time didn't take long at all, so I'll include it for this update.
I've also been setting up the mini-game Rena Catch. The goal was to have the Digivice come up on the screen and have the rest of the game have a darker translucent mask ( since the Digivice won't take up the whole screen) indicating you can't access anything from the previous menu.  I figured this would be a fun way of doing it instead of just going to a new scene. Though, since I want the game to eventually be mobile friendly, I might need to add a Digivice that has a D-pad so it's more intuitive to control the game on mobile ( you can just press the buttons on the screen). So I might change it now instead of adding it in and then having to change it later.
I still need to set the stage for the anal scene, but setting up animations aren't too hard. The anal scene still needs a bit of work (mostly the tail), but once I get it finished, throwing it into the game shouldn't be too hard. Same with Rena on the home screen, since for now she'll be a loop.
So yeah, things have been mostly just setting things up properly so I don't have to change much in later updates. I'm still going to try to wrap up the demo before months end. I'll keep you all in the loop on how it all goes.
I'll also be posting a few things from Fox Hole and the Booette animation in a little bit. Just to keep you all in the loop for those and to get some pixel art out to y'all.

Current backlog-Feb-18th

Hey gang,
I wanted to go over all the projects I currently have in my backlog so I can keep you all in the loop of things:
- Renapet update
- Booette's Mansion
- Fox Hole
- Isabelle's problem
-  Midna Game (Midnight Princess)
I'll update this list whenever one of the list items gets completed.

February 18th Weekly update! Panzar planner

Hey everyone,
Hope you've all been well. I hope you had a great Valentine's day as well! I got a decent amount of work done on Renapet this week. Mostly setting/ cleaning up the animations to put in the demo.
Things I did this week:
- Cleaned up/ finished the RenaCatch Rena anims (Idle, Catch, perfect catch, and Hit)
-Started doing the animations for Imp ( he will standing next to the ball launcher and laugh or get hype depending on if you get hit or get perfect catches) - Did the "Shoot" animation for the ball launcher
- I also cleaned up the "slow" speed for the anal scene. No tail yet and it still needs cleaning up, but once I get this one, it'll be easier to do the other speeds for the most part, so I might try to squeeze a few more into the upcoming demo. Also need to clean up the background still. These big animations take a quite out of me, but I think they'll be worth it in the end. - Started work on animating Rena on the home screen (idle). - I also started fleshing out the animation for when you hover over the anal scene button on the sex canvas menu. It still needs cleaning up, but each of the scenes will have an animation that plays when you hover over it, an idle anim, and an anim when you stop hovering over it. For next week, most of the time will be spent actually constructing the demo now that I have the anims I need to flesh things out. I'm not sure if I'll actually have anything ready to play by next week, but I'll try my best. If I do, it will be very basic and will be up on Patreon, but it will give an idea of how the game will be like.

February plans: Renapet update

Hey everyone,

February's main focus will be the overdue Renapet update. The main goal is to start laying down the overall structure of the project's code base, so it's easier to update in the future. I'll be using the Godot engine for it, so technically I'll be moving it from Unity, even though the "demo" for that it was very minimal. I'll lay out the plan for the update below:

- Establish main scenes like title screen, home scene, sex scenes etc

- Implement title screen buttons

- Implement the home menu buttons and highlighted changes

- Implement Rena in the home scene

- Implement the sex menu

- Implement the Anal scene and a few of it's animations ( most likely the idle, speed 1, and maybe speed 2)

- Implement the mini game "Rena Catch" and finish it's animations

- Status menu and basic implementation

- Finish some more of the other menu buttons

Since this update will be the first one since the original demo, it will be released to patrons first for only a few days for testing. After that, updates will be two weeks apart. I'll be posting WIP shots as things go along. I hope you all look forward to it!

February 11th Weekly update! Scale Tipping

[Sorry I forgot to make this post earlier. If I miss a post like this in the future, it will usually be a public post on my Patreon. I will have another weekly post tomorrow.] Hey everyone,
Hope you all are doing well. My break was a tad bit less relaxing than I had hoped, but the show must go on haha I took some time to change a few things about the Patreon and future projects. My goal was to make it so I can focus on one single project more often, and also get things out to y'all faster.
- First off, I've removed the game polls that I had each month. I will still have the animation polls per month, but I think it was a bit arrogant of me to think  I could get monthly animations done while also working on small and bigger games at the same time. Which usually consist of several animations by themselves. I will probably still work on mini-games in my free time, but since I don't have the time to work on them consistently, I don't want to get people's hopes up on when they'll be done. The Midna game and Fox Hole are still going to be worked on and completed though, since they were already voted on.
- Jumping off that, my monthly plans will now be a single project that I will be working on. In other words, I'll state what I want to work on at the beginning of the month, and I'll work on it until it gets done. This way I can focus on one thing getting done at a time, and get things done faster, instead of trying to juggle so much. If I finish a project before the month is over, I will continue work on another project if I have a backlog, or introduce a new project to round out the month.
 - For bigger projects like the Pyra finale, I think it's important I keep you all in the loop for long projects that. For the finale specifically, I didn't want to show too much because it had some twists and turns that I didn't want to spoil. At the same time, I don't think it's fair to just tell you guys I'm working on something without showing any progress of it. So In the future, I will be posting more WIP shots and will be breaking down projects so patrons can follow the progress of them better. I'll include a spoiler tag incase people want to avoid spoilers for future animations.
I do want to start working on games again, since I have a few ideas I want to get out, plus there are some old games I want to get finished. I've been a bit more focused on animations of late, and I still have quite a few in the backlog. But I want start working on them again, when I have time after I do the Patreon animations each month, and after I clear out my current backlog. So I'll share any WIP shots and test demos of things I get done. I will also make a later post of my current backlog so I can organize what I still need to do, and so you all can see the progress I make along the way.

Small Break

Hey gang,
Just letting you know the weekly update will now be coming Saturday or Sunday. I took a small break since I burnt myself out a bit with the Pyra finale and having to prepare for my interview  earlier this week. The interview went well enough, but everything left me kinda drained so I wanted to take  a few days to refresh and also think about how I want to handle my Patreon going forward. I'm still kicking some ideas around and listening to the suggestions you all have posted, but I should have a plan put together by Saturday or Sunday, and will fill you all in on what it is once I've nailed it down. I'll also be posting the source files of the Pyra finale in a bit for $10 supporters. But yeah I'll be back to things this weekend!
