News: Weekly update coming Wednesday


Heya gang,

Sorry for not much feedback these last few days. My family ended up staying a bit longer than I expected, and I can't really animate pixel tits in the living room with them haha

So since we're close to the end of the month, I'm going to batch the update and try to get a couple of things to ya by Wednesday. I've been feeling pretty good about work, so I'm hoping to get a few things done. 

I've also been doing some job stuff. I actually have an interview on Monday and if things go well, it'll help a lot, as I won't have to take so many other odd jobs every month. I'd be able to just have that one job and then work on pixel art. Once again I just want to thank all of you for your support. It seems to be the only stable thing I've had for quite a while haha. So truly, thank you. I'll make sure to do my best and get some cool stuff out to you all!

Mini update + another update coming sometime this weekend

Heya gang,

Sorry for being a dumb slow artist. Meant to get a few things out to you all this week, but work has been difficult so finding time has been tough. Plus, my family decided to make a "surprise visit" so I've had to be more "discrete" than usual as they stay for the week. So idk how much I'll be able to get done by the weekend, but I'll try to get some stuff out to y'all. Anway's gonna be a quick update this time around then I'll follow up later this weekend. Let's get into things.


Mythra NNN

Working on getting the key frames for Mythra Part 3 done. Also trying to finalize the background and final lighting. Hopefully will have more to show soon.


Also did a bunch of misc Xeno 2 stuff in February as some stress doodles, so here's some wips and I'll try to work on them a bit later. I also wanted to do a Valentine's day and a New years year of the tiger pic, but you know how I am with Deadlines. So hopefully you'll see them soon. Also laying out the Nia animation. Gonna be a bit involved, but I want to keep it relatively simple so it doesn't take too much time.

Did a Ryuko redraw pic as some practice/ warm up. Been trying to upgrade my lighting, so figured this could be good practice. Might animate it a bit later when I have time.

March 8th weekly update! Dollop Shop

Hey gang,

Text update this time around. Sorry this is getting to you all late. Though things would have mellowed out by now, but I've been a lot busier than I thought I'd be recently. But I'll figure things out. Anyway, let's get into what I've been working on.

Palace of the Goddess

Cleaning up the 2nd tits grope anim, working on the other Goddess Offering animations, and then still fleshing out the added gameplay idea. I want to do something decently significant, but don't want to push the project back even more than I already have. So I'm working to find a balance. Anyways, I hope to have more to show you soon.


Mythra NNN

I have the script for part 3 done as well as the keys for the animation. Things are a bit too sketchy to show, but outside of one big animation segment, it shouldn't take long to throw everything together. Mainly need to finish the background, and then clean up the keys and finalize the animatic for it. Then it'll just be a matter of filling in the blanks. Hope to show more of it to you all soon.


Comms

Been working on quite a few pic comms. I wanted to get a good chunk of them done this weekend, but unfortunately didn't get enough done. But mainly chunking through pics and then working on anim comms as well. There was also some spelling and credits errors on the Zapphira anim, so I'll be fixing those and updating it. Should be out in the next day or two. I actually added earthquake sound effects to the anim, but I turned them down quite a bit because I thought they might be too overbearing. But maybe I'll just make them louder or make 2 separate versions. We'll see what happens.  


Misc

I also worked a bit and fleshed out the poses/pics for the Princess Peach and Android 21 doodle pages. As well as laying out the small Nia anim. I know I mentioned that sketchy pixel style I did earlier, but it seems like I really can't help it and just ended up doing the single line pixel style I normally do. I even went back and started finalizing the 2B doodle page in that style as well. Sorry that things are probably going to take longer as  a result, but I hope the results will be worth the wait. 

I've also been throwing a lot of small game ideas at the wall, but unfortunately nothing has really stuck. The plan was to make a small $1 game or something. Just to actually finish something and put it for sale. It probably won't be finished anytime soon, especially since I can't decide on an idea, but I'll try to make something fun and get it out to you all soon. Since the game is so cheap, it'll be sent to all current patrons as well. 

Anyways that's it for now. I need to wake up in a couple of hours, so I need to head to bed., But I wanted to get this out for you all, just so you all know what's going on and I didn't want this to get delayed again. Sorry there ain't much content for this one, but I'll try to make the next one a god one.

2021 Yearly Report


Heya gang,

Sorry it took a while, but I wanted to get a report of 2021 one for my work out so I can properly reflect on things and y'all can get a sneak peek on what's happening behind the scenes. 

If I'm being honest, I consider this year to be a failure for the most part.

I had several projects, such as Mythra's NNN, Renapet, Fox Hole, Booette, the Blake animation, Lustful Nun, The Rouge Game, The Midna game, Palace of the Goddess, and several other things I wanted to get done, or at least get a good chunk of work done on them. And looking at things I got about... *checks notes* hmm, none of those completed. Mythra part 2 took forever to get out and that even stretched to 2022. And while a lot of these projects did get expanded upon quite a bit, not completing any of them, is a big problem.

I think the biggest issue I've had, kind of like I mentioned before, was worrying too much about chasing numbers or getting a lot of small things out as soon as possible so I can post them on social media. All that leads to is me starting a bunch of things when I feel motivated, failing to juggle all of them at once, and then burning out and getting nothing done. I feel like I switch between an unbelievable amount of motivation, followed by complete burnout, and that just isn't sustainable or healthy in the long run. Obviously, it's a huge issue when I can't focus on a specific project when the main goal of my supporter sites is to fund those projects. So going forward I want to place a stronger emphasis on finishing projects and actually delivering the content you all support. While also pacing myself better by focusing on one thing at a time. 

I also need to put more work onto completing games as well. I wanted to get several game projects out during 2021 both for content and for the experience for bigger projects. I wanted to get the Mythra NNN set wrapped up and also get s few games out, and then swing into working on Renapet. But it's obvious that none of that happened. Even Palace of the Goddess has stalled out significantly, and even though the game has been expanded upon from the original scope, the game has still taken far too long to complete. The last thing I want to do is take all of your support for granted, and you all deserve better than what I'm currently delivering.  So, I want to change things up so I'm more consistent on my game projects as well, so there won't be such a long wait between projects. And I want to get into the habit of delivering more consistent demos to you all as well, so you can actually get your hands on the games I'm working on. 

I think I've also been approaching my art journey wrong as well. I think my improvement has stalled in some ways due to not having clearer goals and creating content without a stronger purpose. I usually try to make things mainly to make more content, rather than to try and learn something new as an artist. And I still often struggle with what I want to focus on as an artist when it comes to the type of content and fetishes I want to depict.  I don't think I've been enjoying making and finishing my art lately, and things are much harder if you aren't having fun doing it. So, I want to change my mentality when it comes to art and learning about art in general. There's a lot I need to learn when it comes to being an animator, an illustrator, and a content creator as well. So, I want to start doing more studies in an effort to gain more experience and increase what I'm capable of. And I also want to set more tangible goals so I can focus on learning specific things, while exploring a specific type of content. Communicating more is also a needed change, as I often put my nose to the grindstone to work while also leaving you all out to dry without knowing what's going on. So, I want to keep an open line of communication as well.

Speaking of getting more consistent content out to my supporters, I also need to have a better turn around on my commissions. Especially my animated commissions. Honestly, I was surprised by how many people wanted to comm me, but I am still very grateful for it. But at the same time adding comms to the workload while I was already struggling with my regular project work might have not been the best idea. Especially since the animated comms were all animated in a way that is pretty time consuming, as it's pure frame by frame animation and not the single frame manipulation that I've used in smaller works. I've been chunking through comms, but I still don't think I've found a great balance between project and comm work, and to can't have clients waiting for months to get their order. And I can't have my supporters waiting for months to hear about the projects they are supporting either. I will be increasing the cost of animated comms to $450, since they take a significant amount of time to do. But I will also be adding a new option for them to have added SFX and VA with some variants in the animation to make it a full scene. So, at the end, it will look like the Zapphira animation comm I did for Plantanote. And I'll be focusing on getting bi-weekly updates at the very least to clients to make sure I'm making proper progress on their comm when it's their turn in the queue. At the very least I'll let them know where how many comms are ahead of theirs.

It's not all doom and gloom though.  I think I improved my illustration skills quite a bit and feel more comfortable tackling more interesting poses and getting line art done faster. I also feel like my animations have much more life and weigh to then, although I still want to fix my approach to them a bit. I've done a decent job of getting my getting my pin-up commissions done, and I think they've helped me do poses and ideas I wouldn't have otherwise. I still have a lot to learn when it comes to posing, framing, lighting and backgrounds, but it's good to know I've made some progress. But it still feels like my eyes are improving faster than my hands, so I want to do more drills and practice, so I can make better and better stuff.

I think my favorite pic of the year, was the Gardevoir set I did. I tried a lot of different techniques and poses for it, and I think it helped me get over some hurdles that I struggled with before. So, I hope to make more interesting pieces like it in the future.

Anyway, I think that's everything for 2021's review. A lot of stuff I still need to improve, but I think overall it was a decent step in the right direction.  So, the overall plan for 2022 will be:

- Be more consistent with content

- Focus more on completing projects and working on things one at a time.

- Have better, more consistent communication

- Clear my queue of projects from previous years

- Restructure my mentality to art and have fun with it again

- Figure out what I want to focus my art on

- Create a better life, project work, and comm work balance

- Learn more about art techniques and the basics to improve art quality

March 3rd weekly update! Cyber Holster

Heya gang,

Sorry for getting this update to ya a bit late, and sorry once again for the lack of updates in February. Things have been hectic, so balancing everything has been difficult. But I'll try to be more consistent going forward here. Also, I wrapped up 2021's yearly report, so that will be out soon as well. Went over a lot of things I did that year and what I hope to change and improve on moving forward. Anyway, let's get into the content.

Palace of the Goddess:

I started doing the 2nd breast grope animation for the Goddess Offering scene. I'm still cleaning up some of the other animations for this, so I'm hoping to have more to show soon. I wanted to get more done in February, so I'm going to try and place a strong emphasis on this since it's been in development for a long time. I've also been thinking of adding more "game" elements to it. I have a few things in the works but want to solidify it before showing it off. So I hope you look forward to seeing more.

Comms

I finished a Vex comm for Slenderius. Ended up making a set out of it as well since they wanted multiple variants. Since it was a big set, I also made a credits scene for it. I want to make more content that I can 

I also did another comm of Mitsuba for JxBermudez. Another image set for this one, but smaller this time around. 

I also completed a series of anim edits of that old DMG animation I did a while back. There are quite a few edits (10), so there's some collages of all of them, and then individual loop and climax anims for each edit.
